In the book of Mark 9:17-27, a man called out to Jesus for help. His son was possessed by an evil spirit that wouldn't let him talk and would violently throw him into the ground to have a convulsion. The man said to Jesus, "Have mercy on us and help us, if you can." Then Jesus responded by saying, "What do you mean,'If I can', Anything is possible if a person believes."
It's something so simple yet seems the hardest thing to do, believe. Why is it so hard? In today's reading in Psalms 43:5 it says it perfect. "Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart to sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again - my Savior and my God!
I believe you in the morning and in the afternoon, I believe you in the evening and underneath the moon. Oh skinnamarink-a-dinky-dink skinnamarink-a-doo, I praise you!
