Why is it? Every time I am having a great day there is always something that brings me down and its usually somebody.
Woke up this morning feeling good, began reading my bible about God providing for the Israelites, while they were traveling through the desert to the promise land, and in the new testament where Jesus was being tested by the Pharisees, but as usual he spoke the Word of God and breezed right through it! So I felt rather motivated; I headed to work with the mind set that if I run into a problem then Gods going to provide, and if I get tested then I'm going to stand strong and speak the Word of God.
Well, of course you all know where this is headed. The devil knew just what to place in-front of me to make me break. I had just read how God will provide and if I would have just spoken the Word of God like Jesus did, then I would have been a glorious rock star! I know we all have our moments of weakness and we sometimes fail on what we planned on doing, but it sure is nice to know we have such a forgiving God. So my prayer is...tomorrow I WILL do better and speak the Word of God if the temptation arises.
