Mark 8:5-9
Jesus asked, "How much bread do you have?" "Seven loaves," they replied. So Jesus told all the people to sit down on the ground. Then he took the seven loaves, thanked God for them, and broke them into pieces. He gave them to his disciples, who distributed the bread to the crowed.....They ate as much as they wanted. Afterward, the disciples picked up seven large baskets of leftover food. There were about 4,000 people in the crowed that day.
Jesus had so little to offer, yet he still gave thanks for what he had. Then, in the end he had way more then what he thought.
There are days when I find myself being a little selfish. I look at my little house, then my one car, and what little amount of tools I have. I am so POOR! But, I can't think of it in that way. I have a house! I have a really cool car! I got some pretty sweet tools! I bet I could go find somebody on the side of the street that wished they had what I have.
Jesus had so little, but yet had so much. Thank you Lord for all your blessings. You have given too much.
