Mark 10:5-9
But Jesus responded, "He(Moses) wrote this commandment only as a concession to your hard hearts. But 'God made them male and female' from the beginning of creation. 'This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one, Since they are no longer two but one, let no one split apart what God has joined together."

In today's world, divorcing your wife or husband is an OK thing to do. Nobody seems to care anymore. Everyone thinks that they will be walking down the street and someone will walk by and their eyes will meet, then the world will stop spinning, and doves will be flying everywhere. Then instantly they will know they have found their true soul mate! Then they will go on and live happily ever after. OK sorry, I'm getting a little worked up. Lets get back to the word which says, "let no one split apart what God has joined together." WHAT GOD HAS JOINED! If your marriage is stinking it up, then God isn't in it.

Unconditional love is eagerly promised at weddings, but rarely practiced in real life. As a result, romantic hopes are often replaced with disappointment in the home. But it doesn't have to be that way. - Stephen Kendrick
