Matthew 25:29 - "To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have an abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away.
I heard a preacher tell a story saying,"A man died and found himself standing before God and hearing him say. What did you ever give for me? Then the man began to explain that he just didn't have a lot to give. I mean you saw what I made at my job; you saw how many bills I had, so I just didn't have much to give to the church when all said and done. Then God said but I gave you life!"
I know I struggle with it all the time. I say, "well God I know I should do this and give that but I just don't have any to spare. Is there anything I can give that doesn't cost?" I pray that we all can trust in the Lord to provide has we go out into the world spreading the good news. So that one day we will hear those most precious words, well done, my good and faithful servant."
